About this deal

Mum and Dad go to Paris by air and Henry and Peter go to summer camp. Henry is desperate to escape. Mr. Soggington makes up a 'Detention Club' on the weekend for people who need detention. It then becomes fun with a good story. Henry and Margaret have a competition to see whose club is better - The Purple Hand Gang or The Secret Club.

To raise money for new toys, Henry decides to sell his parents' belongings to his friends, and sells Peter to Margaret as a 'slave'. My two boys love this book and I have actually had tears running down my face and had to stop reading because of laughing so hard. My oldest son is rereading all the books in this series on his own now and he still loves them. Happy reading!" Perfect Peter: Uh, no probably not. [closes the door and a toy falls down, the door then opens again]Henry and Margaret fight over the paint and accidentally squeeze the pot, sending a big blob of paint flying across the room. It splats Weepy William in the face, making him cry loudly] Henry becomes a member of the Best Boys Club just to go to Goody-Goody Gordon's birthday party. But things go wrong when he does NOT get his star. In the scene where Ralph says to Henry "Nearly lunchtime, Henry. See you outside", right before the scene changes, Margaret is doing her painting. But in the next scene Margaret is out of her seat without seeing her getting out of her seat to see Henry. When Mum goes out of the house, Henry takes advantage of his babysitter Mad Martin's obliviousness and watches the Gross Class Zero marathon. However, when the show comes to life within Henry and Peter's eyes, they are now on a mission with the Gross Class Zero crew to defeat the Evil Emperor - Darius Drek, and his children; Drusilla Drek and Damian Drek, and save the universe before it's too late.

Henry is forced to be in The Happiest Family Contest until he hears that the grand prize is an island getaway.NOTE: This episode takes place during the events of Horrid Henry and the Measly Mascot, Horrid Henry and the Terrific Teenager and Horrid Henry Wins the Cup, except focusing on Mum and Dad and in some cases, Fang and Fluffy at home. The reason Henry gets Peter to come with him in the episode is because Peter had a dentist appointment, which was a lie. In the book, it was Henry claiming he needed to talk to Peter about something top secret and private. I think that this book would appeal to year 2 or year 3. The children would find the book funny and it would be a light-hearted way to approach some of the issues in the book such as Henry being un-kind to other children in the playground. Henry's weekend gets in grave danger when Moody Margaret stays at his house while her parents go on holiday. The people trying to debag Henry are different. In the book, it was Dizzy Dave, Tough Toby, and Rude Ralph. In the episode, it's Rude Ralph, Beefy Bert, and Aerobic Al.

Reason for Reading: Our son has reading difficulties and after much debate the family bought an ereader. Ds read this book aloud as his reader and as his very first ebook. Horrid Henry is a favourite of his. Great-Aunt Greta babysits Peter and Henry while their parents are out for the weekend. However, Henry is up to something great and horrible. Like Dennis the Menace and Curious George, Horrid Henry is either finding trouble or creating it, and the kids are crazy about his antics." The first Horrid Henry book was written and published in 1994 by Orion Books. Up until 2015, 24 official Horrid Henry titles were published in the series with a special one-off 25th Anniversary book, published in 2019. The series has sold more than 21 million copies worldwide. [3] They fight, then Henry sends Margaret down the stairs on a skateboard. While she's gone, Henry hides the pink pants under his pillow]

My son is 7 years old and a big Horrid Henry fan. This book lived up to his expectations! Horrid Henry is like most boys: he always has a plan and is always getting into mischief! It was amusing, and he could not put it down. Can't wait for the next. He read it cover to cover by himself in 2 days! That for me sells a book! He can't wait for the next one to be published. He has recommended it to all his friends." An absolutely fantastic series and surely a winner with all children. My son took this book as his favourite during book week at his school and converted a few children to the cause. Long live Francesca Simon and her brilliant books! More, more please!"
